We need you!

The Community Shop has become an integral part of our village life. This success relies on the volunteers who staff the shop and help in other ways. But we do need to increase our pool of volunteers.

Do you enjoy meeting new people and chatting to fellow villagers?

Do you enjoy lending a helping hand to those who require one?

Do you enjoy being a part of an active community?

Do you have a few hours to spare during the week or at weekends?

You are just the person that our shop is looking for.

We can also provide retail skills training for young volunteers participating in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme

We are looking for volunteers to help with a range of opportunities, to help us expand the business to better serve the needs of the community. There are opportunities in the hub and shop, behind the scenes, and on the Board. For more examples see this page.
