Gawsworth Community Hub and Shop serves the village and parish of Gawsworth, visitors to the village and to the near-by Gawsworth Hall, and travellers on the A536 between Macclesfield and Congleton.

How to find us:


From Macclesfield: About three miles from the centre of Macclesfield on the A536 turn left into Church Lane signposted Gawsworth Hall.


From Congleton: About five miles from the centre of Congleton on the A536 turn right into Church Lane signposted Gawsworth Hall.


After entering Church Lane take the first left and the first left again and you will be outside our shop (opposite the School) (just 300 metres from the main road).

We accept credit and debit card payments and have now dropped the £5 minimum transaction charge except for customers wanting cashback.

Ray Shaw, the longstanding and acclaimed Chairman of Gawsworth Community Shop, is to step down from his role. A new chairperson will be appointed later this year and the recruitment process to find Ray’s successor is now underway. More
