Reduced Opening Times


A combination of injuries , extended winter holidays, serious illness and a general shortage of volunteers has reduced our pool of available volunteers to such an extent this term we have had no choice but to close early at 2pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.  


We hope to return to our normal opening hours after Easter.



A Village Hub?


You may have noticed that the flat next to the shop is up for sale. This presents an opportunity which is unlikely to be repeated in the foreseeable future.


The shop’s Board is considering seeking to buy the flat with a view to creating a village ‘hub’.

Shop’s 8th Anniversary Celebration


March is the eighth anniversary of the shop opening as a community shop so we are going to hold an event on Saturday 16th March, not only to celebrate this but to share information about the village hub project and to obtain your views on it in an informal setting.


So please mark the date in your diaries and look out for posters for details of the day’s activities.
